Safety monitoring system

CMT Atomizers prioritizes safety with its advanced safety monitoring systems designed to ensure optimal performance and security. These systems feature state-of-the-art electronics, comprehensive alarm systems, and a robust lubrication unit. Real-time data and diagnostics from the electronic components allow for prompt detection of irregularities, while integrated alarms alert operators to potential issues, ensuring quick responses. The lubrication unit maintains consistent lubrication, extending component lifespan and reducing maintenance. The CMT Local Panel, constructed from AISI 304L stainless steel, includes sensors for temperature, airflow, vibration, RPM, and oil connections, among others. It is pre-wired for easy integration and includes features like a running hour meter and various alarms. The lubrication unit operates with minimal oil consumption and includes alarms for oil levels and air pressure. For more details or inquiries, CMT's sales department is available for support.

Local Panel

The CMT Local Panel, made from AISI 304L stainless steel, comes fully equipped with advanced safety electronics and is pre-wired with digital and analog relay outputs, ready to interface with your system. Key features include:

  • Sensors for atomizer and motor bearing temperatures (High Speed Motor)
  • Air flow sensor (High Speed Motor air cooled)
  • Flow switch sensor (High Speed Motor liquid cooled)
  • Atomizer vibration sensor (accelerometer)
  • Spindle vibration sensor (displacement)
  • RPM monitoring sensor
  • Flooding alarm sensor
  • Sensors for oil connections and lubrication cycles (if the atomizer is oil lubricated)
  • Running hour meter

Lubrication Unit

Proper lubrication is crucial for the safe operation of atomizers. When oil lubrication is required, our atomizers feature a separate automatic lubricator unit with a "minimal" system. This system delivers a very small amount of oil (a few cubic mm per hour) to the bearings through a low flow of compressed air. Benefits include:

  • Very low oil consumption (200 to 500 cubic mm per hour, depending on atomizer size)
  • Optimal friction reduction, maintaining lower temperatures
  • No oil fog, eliminating the risk of ambient pollution
  • Low air flow prevents contamination of bearings from dirt
  • Adjustable oil amount and cycle timing based on need

The lubrication unit is controlled by an internal PLC, which includes:

  • Low oil level alarm
  • Oil delivery alarm
  • Low air pressure alarm
  • High air pressure alarm
