CMT proposed special design atomizer equipped with 100 Kw direct drive motor liquid cooled.
Special attention has been dedicated to design a improved spiral distributor coupled with a special design of insert wheel to guarantee the flowrate at continuous operations.
Air channels to avoid deposits and clogging.
Oil lubrication with minimal air-oil system.
Coupling to the main shaft through special Joint in one piece for high-speed steel alloy.
Same outside dimensions to be fit in the air disperser without any modification.

The heart of innovative atomizer has been the motor
Technologically advanced and equipped with special bearings with grease for high power and temperature, it has guaranteed performance and reliability.
Managed by frequency converter assisted by sine filter has enabled the performance in a wide range of speeds and operating conditions.
Cooled by a chiller 18Kw in closed cycle with special connections sealed to prevent any leakage of coolant.
In addition, the minimal lubrication of the atomizer bearings has allowed a significant saving of oil used.
Temperature sensors were placed both on the motor bearings and on those of the atomizer to continuously monitor the status of the machine.
An accelerometer has allowed to verify the characteristic frequencies of the entire system during operation.
Improved Distribution / Wheel system:
We optimized the distribution system within the wheel and the wheel geometry.
The difficulties are due to the need to manage a fluid such as “thin shearing” with characteristics of variation of viscosity not known.
For the distribution we adopted the spiral system by improving fluid dynamics by means of simulations of behavior under different speeds and pressures.
We adopted a special insert geometry to optimize the spray in the chamber and make the particle size distribution as narrow as possible.
An evident effect has been the tendency to reduce the span and also the mean particle size.
