Lifetime Maintenance Services

Besides the planning and construction of atomizers and rotary valves, CMT is in a position to offer a valid service that includes supply of spare parts and maintenance/repair interventions.

CMT offers three types of service:

• On site

  Worn parts are replaced.

  The atomizer operation is optimized.

  In emergency cases, a technician of ours can be on client site within 24 hours.

• CMT workshop

  Atomizers undergo a complete check-up: the atomizer is completely taken apart.

  With specific instrumentation, a control is done of all the tolerances of the main components.

  The worn parts are all replaced (bearings, bearing guide packing, other parts).

  All the parts that do not guarantee reliability for the period of the programmed operation are repaired or replaced.

  The wheel undergoes specific controls in order to verify the degree of wear and its operating safety.

  After assembling, the atomizer undergoes an operation test and is monitored for a period not less than 4 hours.

  If the outcome of the test is positive a test certificate is issued and six months of operation from the re-start-up are guaranteed.

• Programmed maintenance

  This service can be carried out at site or in our workshop.

  Inspections of the atomizer are carried out in intervals programmed and agreed upon with the customer.

Service strategy:

The atomizer is the heart of the production in a spray dryer system and is the component subject to the most extreme operating conditions, therefore monitoring it is very important in order to prevent stop of production and breakages that are an unavoidable consequence when the maintenance is based on the reaction to the breakdown
